Student Led Conference

Student Led Conference: Empowerment and Ownership The preschoolers becoming in charge is a way to create opportunities for reflection, engagement and agency.  As we were getting ready for the Student Led Conference, the preschoolers planned with Ms. Faye the work samples, activities and the areas that they wanted to share to their parents.    They practiced together with their friends on how to go through the conference.    During the Student Led Conference, they shared their portfolio, which they organized in their UOI notebook and in Seesaw.  They shared their strengths, weakness and what their learning goals are. PRESCHOOLERS are Performers

Unit of Inquiry In our year long unit on "How we express ourself", the class made our own play of  The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle . The preschoolers went through the production process from choosing the story, the characters they want to be, the instruments to play, song, movements, and the costumes (of course with the help of the parents too!). Preschoolers watched the video together and celebrated how they have grown and changed to be risk-takers!  Enjoy the final presentation of the Perky Preschoolers as they performed the play, of The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
