Here comes the sun, and I say, It's all right... sun, sun, sun, here we come! What is the best way to start Tuning In for our unit? Well, none other than going out for a walk to enjoy and see the lovely sakura trees!! We had our beautiful morning walk at Rokko Island and we were greeted by these blossoming sakura flowers around us. We played our favorite 'I spy' game focusing on the different things we saw, heard and felt during our walk. While walking, passers-by couldn't help but laugh as they hear the contagious laughter of the Preschooler's as we explored the beautiful surroundings around our school. Back in school, we talked about the different things we saw during our morning walk. They worked with their group and together they wrote/drew the things they have seen. Then, as a class we have sorted the groups into Living and Non Living Things. They have defined living things as: .. things that grow .. they move .. ...
