Field Trip

FIELD TRIP Children who experience a holistic development during their younger school years grow up to become global citizens.  Taking the students out of the classroom  is important because it provides a balance between indoor and outdoor activities. It prepares them for what it is like in the real world.  As part of our unit on How The World Works which focuses on the science of living things, the preschoolers went out on a field trip to Rokkosan Pasture. In here, the students were immersed and had access to a different environment,  the farm habitat together with the animals who live there.  They experienced interactive learning by feeding and getting up close with these friendly and hungry goats. They observed how the animals shared space and played inside their homes. A trip to the moon

Science Technology Engineering Maths DSKI School on the Moon The Preschoolers traveled to the moon today.  With the help of the astronauts, the space ship was launched. We got lost in time, but we patiently waited. Finally, we landed on the moon.  Being taken with us is our version of the Bio Regenerative Life Support System to create a living environment for the plants and animals.    We made sure that the students and teachers who will be on the moon will survive for months with enough supply of nourishment.    We also brought with us supplies of protein bars, fruits, cookies, candies, nuts, and food in cans.  In order to ensure that we will be able to provide enough food and have the right amount of production, we did a survey back on earth.  The students found out about the following information: Total number of people going to the moon People who have allergies Food preferences Amount of water consumed in a day The space ship was f...
