"Why are all people different?" -Tamaki- I think that this is one of the most difficult question a child can ask.  Even I couldn't find the correct or the exact answers to this. However, 'Guess the Baby' experiment shows that we, somehow all look alike at some stage in our lives - when we are babies.  We looked at the strip of papers and the names written. We found out that a lot of the guesses where wrong and mixed up. We asked some teachers and students and they had a difficult time guessing the babies.  "They all look alike!" was the common response that we heard. But, if we look closely and pay attention, we can see that, the same baby is still there. So today, we have revealed the names of the babies!  Look at their photos... Diversity at DSKI

Book and Culture Week The DSKI community has proven that we are all united as we celebrate this wonderful week of the Book and Culture Week.  The PTA organized a cooking session with Ayumi. All the students from Preschool to Grade 6 worked together in peeling, chopping, and slicing the vegetables.   The hot soup  gave warmth to our bodies and also to the hearts of the students and teachers at DSKI. Because it was a combined effort of all the teachers, students and the parents.    As they ate the hot miso soup, they gained an understanding of the importance of eating  healthy in the Japanese culture.  Different Games The parents have also prepared a space for the students to experience different games and toys from Japan and Korea.    In China, they go out on a parade with a lantern to celebrate the first full moon of the year.
