Perky Preschool

  What an exciting week it has been!  Learning resources are the things that we, as teachers access to help us in our teaching. It provides a source of learning experience for the preschoolers and assists the process of interaction in the class.  The preschoolers have utilized the use of books, pictures, stories, discussions, technology, and educational videos to assist them in their research.  This week, 2 important resources were presented to the preschoolers. 1. People are important learning resource. Veronica Anzuay - Carzis A Veterinarian Veronica shared her knowledge, roles and responsibilities as a vet back in Argentina. Our DSKI Community After learning that they did not know most of the people in the school community, the Preschoolers took the time to go around the campus to get to know these people.  They brought with them a very important TOOL to FIND OUT more about the roles and responsibilities of the people in the DSKI Community - QUESTIONS.    They asked the TEACHERS. "Why are you a teacher?" "What makes you important in the school?" They asked the PRINCIPAL. "Why do you clean the whole school?" "Do you like your job and why?" "Why do you work or help the school?" This week is about FINDING OUT and understanding that everyone has many different ROLES or "HATS" to wear.  One is a child, a brother, a student, a friend, and a lot more depending on the hat he/she is wearing.  Along with the role comes the responsibilities.  But, what exactly is the difference between a ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES?
