Growth



This week we continue inquiring about our personal histories. 

How much have we changed from when we were born to present.


We posted the baby photos of all the preschoolers side by side with their current photos. 
The students and teachers at school will guess, using the photos and looking for similarities who the preschoolers are. 


We will then use these experiment to find out more about the concept of 'change' and 'development' in our unit. 


We have also started collecting the pot flower that show the different milestones we have accomplished growing up. 
They will talk about their personal stories to all the students in class. 



We identified land and water forms and they realized that the water area is so much bigger than the land area! 



As part of their history, we also have looked at the map and located the country they were born. From this, we looked at the bigger land area which is the continents that make up the land forms. 



We identified the continents: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Antartica, and Australia. 



We also identified which continents they are from and some of the teachers at school!



FInally, Ms. Faye brought our class pet and we named her, CUTEE!! 
She is going home this weekend with Luca and have a great time playing and doing things together!


We love making memories in preschool!

Meet the Animals

Students have been actively engaged in preparing for our upcoming Animal Exhibit, showcasing their learning through research, creativity, and collaboration. Each student selected an animal of interest, explored its habitat, diet, and unique adaptations, and created a visual display to share their findings. This week the preschoolers worked in teams to group animals according to their natural habitats—such as grassland, fresh water, polar region, ocean, and forest.  Together, they collaborated to research the features and designed a small-scale habitat that reflect the unique features of each ecosystem. This group project fostered teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity as students and teachers combined their knowledge and ideas to create cohesive, informative, and visually engaging designs.  The final displays beautifully showcase both the diversity of animal life and the power of collaboration.
