Behind the Scene
The Animal Exhibit
There’s a unique kind of magic that happens in the preschool classroom as we dive into the world of animals — the curiosity, the awe, and the joy of these young learners are contagious.
This week the preschoolers have been hard at work preparing for one of the most anticipated events of the year: The Animal Exhibit!
This isn’t your typical school project. This exhibit is a celebration of learning, creativity, and growth. It’s where our little learners transform into budding zoologists, conservationists, and storytellers — all in one.
Each child chose an animal to research. Of course, in preschool, research means lots of storytelling, play, guided discussions, and personal reading. They looked at where the animals live, what they eat, how they move, and what is special or unique about them.
With animals selected, the creative fun began! Preschoolers built habitats, created their drawing of the animals, drew and are slowly completing the chiecklists for the exhibit.
More than just a classroom project, this exhibit is a joyful culmination of weeks of exploration, creativity, and discovery.
It brings out the best in our children — their curiosity, their imaginations, and their confidence.
Now that each child choise their animal, the classroom transformed into a busy art studio. Our classroom will always be filled with the rustling of paper, the squish of clay, the chatter of young voices sharing ideas — and yes, paints all over the floor!
Enjoy the behind-the-scenes look at what went into preparing this incredible event.
