Communicators


This week was full of exciting activities at school!

We were lucky to meet the EXPO 2025 mascot 'Myaku Myaku' and had a photo with it. 


In preparation for their presentation on Monday, the students shared their works with the Grade 1 students. They explained their work process and what they have learned in the unit 


Some of them were nervous and shy, but all have been risk-takers! 


They confidently talked and proudly showed their communication skill by speaking in front of the audience. 


They were also asked questions by the Grade 1 students, which helped them a lot with their presentation skills. 


We are excited to see you all on Monday from 9:00 - 10:00  as they will finally share their culture and everything they have worked for in the unit on "Who We Are".


 

As part of the celebration on International Book Week, the whole school had the D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything and Read) time. 


Our young readers took time as they browsed and read the books they brought from home. 


What a feast to see how they have changed and developed as learners in preschool.

A Day with Nature

From the moment we arrived at Rokkosan Pasteur, excitement was in the air.   The weather was perfect, the animals were curious, and of course the preschoolers couldn’t wait to explore! The highlight of the day? Meeting the  kids —not the classmates, but the adorable baby goats! The students were able to  feed, pet, and even cuddle the goats, horses, sheep . They were gentle and playful. Some preschoolers were a bit hesitant at first, but by the end of the visit, everyone was laughing and eagerly reaching out to connect with the animals. But this trip was about more than just the fun experience. The goal is to extend their learning about  animal care, natural habitat, and the effect of human to other iving things.  These experiences and observing how animals interact in a natural environment were learning in its most genuine form—engaging, memorable, and will have a long-lasting impact on their lives.    As the day came to an end, tired but happy p...
