As part of the Finding Out activity, the preschoolers sorted out the different animals into groups.
They put the animals in to their own classifications as: Birds, Amphibians, Reptiles, Fish, Mammals, and Insects.
Then, they chose 2 animals to compare and worked with a partner and completed a Venn diagram. It allowed the preschoolers to sort the data into, the animals' different characteristics (both sides) and their similarities (the overlap)

And together, the partners shared their work in class.
Next week, the preschoolers will start digging deeper into different Life Cycles of plants and animals.
