PRESCHOOLERS make CONNECTIONS

UNIT OF INQUIRY
To understand our Unit of Inquiry better, Preschoolers started unlocking important words choices, personality and character.

The sutdents worked on a Venn Diagram and shared their different choices with their partner. They noticed that some of their choices are the same and some are different.

We have also started looking at the definition of PERSONALITY. The students draw a tree and outside the tree, they have shared how they perceived the other students which they called TRAITS. Personality may differ based on other students perception or your own knowledge of yourself. It is EVIDENT and VISIBLE to others.

NUMERACY
NUMBER BONDS
Number bonds are used to help preschoolers see how numbers are combined (composed or taken apart) decomposed. This help them understand how numbers work by showing relationships between numbers.

  1. Thank you, Ms.Faye! Very interesting how you get through. It is what the whole would needs as many adults do not know how to perceive others and themselves. So I hope our children will be able to change the life for the better 🥰

Night of the Student Led Conference

Preschoolers practice for their upcoming Student Led Conference (SLC) by engaging in mock sessions with peers and teachers. These practices help the students build confidence as they learn to talk about their artwork, classroom routines, and personal growth.  Using the checklist prompted by visuals like portfolios and photo displays, preschoolers explain their learning journey in simple, meaningful ways. Practicing ahead of the actual conference allows them to feel prepared and proud to share with their families.  It fosters communication skills, independence, and a strong sense of ownership over their learning — all foundational for future academic and social success. During the actual Student Led Conference, preschoolers experienced a range of emotions. Some felt nervous facing their parents, while others were visibly tired or overwhelmed by the attention.  A few needed gentle support to stay engaged. On the other hand, many confidently shared their work, explained clas...

Meet the Animals

Students have been actively engaged in preparing for our upcoming Animal Exhibit, showcasing their learning through research, creativity, and collaboration. Each student selected an animal of interest, explored its habitat, diet, and unique adaptations, and created a visual display to share their findings. This week the preschoolers worked in teams to group animals according to their natural habitats—such as grassland, fresh water, polar region, ocean, and forest.  Together, they collaborated to research the features and designed a small-scale habitat that reflect the unique features of each ecosystem. This group project fostered teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity as students and teachers combined their knowledge and ideas to create cohesive, informative, and visually engaging designs.  The final displays beautifully showcase both the diversity of animal life and the power of collaboration. As part of the preparation, preschoolers will practice presentation skills and t...
