Preschoolers are Upbeat!

This has been an upbeat week for the Perky Preschoolers! 

UNIT OF INQUIRY

This week the Preschoolers are FINDING OUT more about how roles and responsibilities make organisations run smoothly. They have shared their own roles and responsibilities at home. They have also introduced to the class the different members of their family. 

We have also invited Oxana Merineau to come and share with the preschoolers the amazing roles and responsibilities af a HOUSEWIFE and a MOTHER. 

 

 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Today preschoolers had their first IT lesson. They were taught the proper way carrying, returning and taking care of the laptops. 

They were also introduced to SEESAW! Mr. Huber came in and showed the preschoolers how to log-in in their account. They were excited to see some of the works that were uploaded in SEESAW. 


MUSIC
In Music, the Perky Preschoolers explored different percussion instruments such as drums, clapper, wood and stick. They also looked at the concept of BEATS - which is the steady pulse that you feel in the tune, like a clock's tick. It is something that you would naturally clap or tap your foot to.

    Maria is proud of having IT. Every time she says that she has made and sent me the pictures. But I don’t know where to find them( I guess, parents will have the access later.

    What an amazing music session, Ms.Faye! Thanks for the video. I have always wanted to learn to play drums and to have one at home. So I’m jealous so much)) I want to be your student.

A Day with Nature

From the moment we arrived at Rokkosan Pasteur, excitement was in the air.   The weather was perfect, the animals were curious, and of course the preschoolers couldn’t wait to explore! The highlight of the day? Meeting the  kids —not the classmates, but the adorable baby goats! The students were able to  feed, pet, and even cuddle the goats, horses, sheep . They were gentle and playful. Some preschoolers were a bit hesitant at first, but by the end of the visit, everyone was laughing and eagerly reaching out to connect with the animals. But this trip was about more than just the fun experience. The goal is to extend their learning about  animal care, natural habitat, and the effect of human to other iving things.  These experiences and observing how animals interact in a natural environment were learning in its most genuine form—engaging, memorable, and will have a long-lasting impact on their lives.    As the day came to an end, tired but happy p...
