This was a week of celebration.  We were able to watch the students performed their best during the Winter Concert at the MPR.  They danced and sang the Christmas Songs with confidence and pride.  At our Christmas Market, the preschoolers did their assigned responsibilities attentively.  They sat at the table and encouraged everyone to have their pictures taken at our *Perky Picture Perfect* booth.      A reason why ALL the preschoolers were on the nice list and got their presents from Santa!                Big smiles with Santa after receiving their presents. and we are all ready for our Christmas Break!  Enjoy our video,  A celebration of growth and change!   

This week has been very busy with a lot of things happening in preparation for the holidays!  We are filled with a lot of excitement for the coming week of festivities!  Here are some snap shots of the concert practice.   The happy little Christmas trees! What are the important things for us? Biography is a fascinating read for children. They love hearing stories about other people and making connections to how these people lived.  Biographies are fantastic ways to make children understand that everyone is different but at the same time, we also have similarities.  Since the preschoolers are emerging writers, the easiest way to motivate them is to write something about themselves.  With the support from all the conversations and discussions at home at school, preschoolers were able to learn a little bit about themselves.  They told their history through their biography.  It was a struggle and they realized that some of them can do it, but others still can't. But that's okay, it is all a part of growth and change.  They will continue working on it and try their best, but it will take time and in the end they might be able to celebrate another milestone - as publishers!
