The Animal Exhibit

Preschool The Animal Exhibit The preschoolers celebrated their inquiry on the idea that, all living things go through a process of change through the Animal Exhibit.  As COMMUNICATORS, they presented their works to the school community.        Pointing out the different animal body parts and its use for survival.    Read the fictional story they wrote about the animal. Through their research, they were able to gather information and became experts on a specific animal.   They explained how the animals change and grow through a life cycle.    They also showed how energy is transferred from one living thing to the next through a food chain visual presentation.  Finally, everyone was so excited to be a part of their journey in Preschool.  Parents came and celebrated with the preschoolers!        Preschoolers' chosen animals: Eda - Seal Shunki - Bear   Taichi - Shark Rino - Cat Rose - Labrador   Sophia - Horse Ren - Dog Jae Hee - Tiger Eimi - Bird   Michel - Snake Jinnosuke - Jaguar E

Field Trip

FIELD TRIP Children who experience a holistic development during their younger school years grow up to become global citizens.  Taking the students out of the classroom  is important because it provides a balance between indoor and outdoor activities. It prepares them for what it is like in the real world.  As part of our unit on How The World Works which focuses on the science of living things, the preschoolers went out on a field trip to Rokkosan Pasture. In here, the students were immersed and had access to a different environment,  the farm habitat together with the animals who live there.  They experienced interactive learning by feeding and getting up close with these friendly and hungry goats. They observed how the animals shared space and played inside their homes. They were able to make connections on how they, as preschoolers socially interact with one another inside the classroom.   The parents who joined the trip also became the teachers and guide as they  modelled to the
