It is important to set the routines and agreement for the first week of school. By doing this, the students are guided towards success and the expectations in class. The Preschoolers came up with 4 PRESCHOOL AGREEMENT: 1. We are good listeners 2. We stay on task. We start and finish our work. 3. We respect and love everybody. 4. No shouting, running in the classroom and in the hallway. They all signed their names and promised to keep the agreement this whole school year! This week we also practiced our ROUTINES. 1. lining up and walking in the hallway 2. chairs pushed in 3. wiping the tables after eating 4. transitioning from one class to the other 5. packing away materials after class work / play Here are some photos of the Preschoolers busily and focused doing their work.
